‘I still don’t think you should have played today,’ says Kurt, watching as Sebastian begins to unlace his muddy shoes. ‘You could barely walk on Monday.’

‘It’s amazing what a lot of ice and some strapping can do,’ replies Sebastian with a shrug. He’s been deflecting Kurt’s concern all week. It doesn’t stop Kurt worrying.
